So, recently I was in the Otaku House contest on FaceBook. I managed to get up to 6th place in one of the North America groups (just 1 place shy of being in the finals), so I kind of angsted silently that a billion Links, Mae Hughes, and a MASTER ROSHI (it was store-bought khakis and the beard application didn't even look that amazing!!!!!) got to the finals but I didn't OTL.
Anyway apparently one of the top 5 for the the group I was dropped out, so I might get to be in the finals after all o_o!

blargh such a stupid image requirement. I was doing a Kamehameha with the logo but there was no good spot to get my full body, so I looked midgeted. CARD GAMES instead!! Yes I'm aware I need a haircut and it's a dumbshit expression bahhaaah OTL.
As much as I wanted to enter my SSJ Gohan, I hate the comments I get on me being 'Gayhan' or not having the right eye colour and stuff@@!1 *rage burning* It takes a lot of pale make-up to look decent as a blonde in the first place, and the aqua eye colour ($175 per lense) can look kind of weird, even then.
I dunno they haven't e-mailed me back or anything, so I don't even know if it's for certain. Would be nice though!

But we did it with absolutely NO script, and all of our scenes ran really long with random talk, so when it came time to edit it, it was really difficult to OTL. So I just edited randomly instead. (Including some footage from our Canada Day photoshoot and FanExpo 2010!)

_anatra_'s Germany wig and working with it, I really wanted my own lace front XD;. So I bought a brown wavy one from the same ebay store to make my Fem!Italy wig with. Usually takes about 3 weeks to get here so I hope it'll work otherwise I won't be able to wear it for Halloween or anything.
Still not 100% on what to wear for Hetalia Day, but definitely gonna make the effort to attend! I just hope there aren't too many 'casual countries'. Gahwd that's the main reason I don't like gatherings at conventions. There's always some random person who NOBODY can figure out which character they're SUPPOSED TO BE. Either that or their bristol-board armor is bursting off of them. And they stand in for EVERY PHOTO and won't leave. And they're always obnoxious as hell.

In fandom news, I knew I said I didn't get why Tumblr was so popular.. but now I do. Specifically, being able to talk fandom about fandoms' that are completely stagnant everywhere else.
;_; oh the ChiChi, Trunks x Goten, Slayers, and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX!!
Otherwise, it's kind of seriously fast-pace and addictive. I wish there were a way to search more specifically, or find if something has already been posted or not.
Recently I've been drawing a lot of Nyotalia. I dunno I just haven't been inspired about anything else with Hetalia. (Other than Germany x Italy). I feel kind bad about that, since I still want to do fanwork and support USxUK, but certain people and new manga things really gave me a distaste for the current way the pairing is. Cosplay is the only why I still get super excited over it all, which is really depressing because I loved writing my fics and drawing and reading the plethora of fantastic fanwork!! OTL.
I really can't wait for Season 3 on DVD and the Paint it White movie release, cause I want to laugh at the hilarity agaiiiin.
